Table 11-7 shows the general zoning of parcels in the 100-year and 500-year <br />floodplain. About 6 percent of the parcels in the 100-year floodplain are zoned for agricultural uses, with <br />10% zoned as forest and range. These are favorable, lower-risk uses for the floodplain. The amount of the <br />floodplain that contains vacant, developable land is not known. This would be valuable information for <br />gauging the future development potential of the floodplain. <br />Table 11-7.
