KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />September 3, 2019 <br />Approve & Sign an Addendum to a Lease with <br />Tyler Glahn for property located on the Kittitas <br />County Airport, Bowers Field. <br />BACKGROUND: On September 1, 2017 Kittitas County entered <br />into a lease with Tyler Glahn for Lots H-34 and <br />H-35 of the Kittitas County Airport Amended <br />Site Plan. Recently, the Board of County <br />Commissioners approved a new lease <br />template drafted by County Legal Counsel for <br />staff use reflecting a price increase and <br />updated language. Tyler Glahn has requested <br />to amend his current lease to reflect the <br />changes approved by the Board of County <br />Commissioners. Additionally, Tyler Glahn is <br />preparing to build a private hangar on one of <br />the leased lots. <br />INTERACTION: <br />Public Works; Tyler Glahn <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to approve Lease Addendum with Tyler <br />Glahn for leased County property located at <br />the Bowers Field Airport. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Lease Addendum; Lease; Vicinity Map <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook <br />Public Works Director <br />
