BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2019-\ '},.{) -- <br />RATIFYING THE CITY OF CLE ELUM'S CONSTRUCTION AWARD TO DJB <br />CONSTRUCTION FOR THE EXTENSION OF CITY WATER AND SEWER TO THE <br />KITTITAS COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS PROPOSED MAINTENANCE FACILITY ON <br />NO. 5 MINE ROAD AT THE REQUEST OF THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR <br />WHEREAS: Public Works recently received building permits for constructing a new County <br />Road Maintenance Facility at No. 5 Mine Road in Cle Elum, WA; and <br />WHEREAS: The City of Cle Elum recently solicited contractors for extending City water and <br />sewer utilities to the new County road maintenance shop site; and <br />WHEREAS: The City of Cle Elum awarded the construction project to DJB Construction as <br />the lowest responsible bidder on July 9, 2019 ; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works has project funding in Fund 501 supporting completion of all utility <br />extension work; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public , does hereby ratify the City of Cle Elum' s utility extension <br />construction contract award to DJB Construction pursuant to the request of the Director of Public <br />Works. <br />DATED this 16th day of July, 2019, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />c::::::::::: <br />Attest: <br />D Clerk of the Board-Julie Kjorsvik <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />-- <br />re t · · ch .i 1 Vice-Chairman <br />~uty Clerk of the Board-Mandy Buchholz ~ <br />:PV?~..1,/4 h.~/ },-au · · d ..
