Date : 1/31/2019 <br />Name : Bryan Nass <br />Kittitas County Solid Waste <br />Household Hazardous Waste <br />RE: Septage Application Kittitas County <br />Dear Bryan : <br />NRC Environmental Services (NRC) is pleased to present the rollowing scope or work and cost <br />proposal to provide .... <br />Scope of Work: <br />NRC will provide all labor, equipment and materials to complete the rollowlng services- <br />Pump out and chemically stabilize up to 900,000 gallons of septage material with Hydrated Lime, <br />50Ibs of lime per 1,000 gal of septage . Once the material has met the stabilization parameters <br />provided by the customer. must maintain a PH of 12 or greater for 30 minutes after treatment. and <br />land apply the material from two 500,000 gallon ponds all of which is located on one contiguous <br />property the Kittitas County Rye Grass Landfill located at 25900 Vantage Highway, Ellensburg WA <br />98926. Document gallons of materials applied to designated areas and PH results of each <br />load/batch of treated material generated during the process . Provide a report of these activities lo a <br />Kittitas County designated representative . <br />Project Costs : <br />NRC will provide the above-listed services on a unit-rate basis per the supplied USFS Schedule or <br />Items and as shown below. We are offering two scenarios one a: <br />One-Direct Application, pumping both the septage and lime into a vacuum tanker verifying <br />material meets PH parameter then Directly applying it to the designated areas on the Rye Grass <br />Landfill Site. <br />Two -Septage Application with Mix Tanks -Pumping the septage out of the ponds Into two <br />20,000 gallon Frack Tanks where the material will be treated with hydrated lime par the <br />specification referred above then once the m aJe rle l has met the PH requirement be loaded in to <br />Vac Tankers to be applied to the designated -areas on the Rye Grass Landfill Sito. <br />Description Unit <br />Direct Application Per Gallon <br />Septaqe Application with Mix Tanks Per Gallon <br />· EXCHI .I.NCE IN ENVIRONMENTA L AND EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS <br />NR C • 62 11 N.
