• Surveyor shall produce electronic submittals of the triangulated surfaces in:
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D software platforms (Version 2017).
• The surface model's triangles must be displayed in 3D format. Softdesk or Land
Development *.tin files will not be accepted. If Civil 3D software is used, submit LandXML
files of all COGO and triangulated surfaces.
• All triangulated surfaces shall include an exterior 3D boundary at surface elevations.
• All survey data points shall be submitted in an Excel spreadsheet or delimited text file
formatted with point number, northing, easting, elevation, and description .
• All submitted survey information shall include the ties to the survey control points.
• Maintain complete accurate log of survey Work as it progresses and submit survey log book
in PDF format.
• Roadways: Survey grid points at 20-foot intervals and 0.25 foot cord height intervals on
horizontal curves . Survey superelevation application stations, horizontal and vertical
alignment points of curvature, and points of tangent locations .
• Open Areas: Survey grid points at 25-foot intervals and breaklines on 25-foot intervals.
• Ditches: Survey ditch cross-section at 20-foot intervals, including top of bank and flowline.
The survey information will be utilized into three-dimensional format by Jacobs using the AUTOCAD Civil
3-D for grade development and quantity take-offs.
The site mapping will be used to update the preliminary layout of the facility including onsite grading
contours, buffers (and setbacks), traffic flow patterns and travel lane requirements for customer and
operations traffic, civil grading around structures, tanks and fuel areas, and facility floor grades.
Assumptions:
• One boundary plat survey of the approximately 55-acre site
• One topographic survey of approximately 65 acres -assuming a 50' buffer around the site
• One Amerititle Report
• One Auditors recording fee
Deliverables :
• One topographic survey in AUTOCAD format
• One boundary plat survey
Subtask 2.2 Geotechnical Investigation
Geotechnical site characterization is needed to support development of geotechnical recommendations for the
proposed facilities and earthwork . Jacobs will complete an initial geotechnical field investigation consisting of test
pits and shear wave velocity measurements in projected areas of structure foundations, material borrow areas,
pavements, and fill placement areas to characterize subsurface conditions. Subsequent monitoring of groundwater
levels at the site will be performed .
