<br />RESOLUTION
<br />NO. 2019--12!/.S-
<br />TO A WARD THE BID TO FURNISH LIQUID ASPHALT MATERIALS FOR 2019
<br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on February 5, 2019, to
<br />furnish Liquid Asphalt Materials for 2019; and
<br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on February 21, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. in the Kittitas County
<br />Public Works Office, and two (2) bids were received; and
<br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Western
<br />States Asphalt, Inc. for Schedule "A" and for Schedule "B" be accepted; and
<br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the
<br />best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2019 Liquid Asphalt Materials to
<br />Western States Asphalt, Inc. for Schedule "A" and for Schedule "B", upon such terms and
<br />conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s).
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the
<br />contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said
<br />bidder(s).
