Additional Information This is an educational conference for SAR Volunteers. Most attending are from
Washington State. This kind of visitor exposure to Kittitas County is expected to
produce repeat visits for recreation and training for SAR volunteers and there
families.
However, there is a greater purpose for this conference. These SAR Volunteers
attend the conference so that they are prepared for SAR missions year around in
the communities that they live in. In most counties in Washington State, SAR
volunteers are used as a support resource for a wide variety of emergency
services.
Note that this past spring hundreds of SAR volunteers from other counties in
Washington State came to Kittitas County for an evidence search. They stayed for
multiple days in our county to assist our community during a time when we needed
help.
2500 character lirrit
Supporting Documents You rrey upload any supporting docurrents such as graphs, irrages, diagrarrs, rrsrketing rraterials, etc.
2013 SAR Conference Final Budget - Kitt Co.pdf 12.58KB
2018 SAR Conference Final Budget - SARVAC.pdf 77.32KB
Funding email - DEM.pdf 70.24KB
You are allowed to submit up to 3 single page (US Letter) docurrents in JFG, RDF or T1FFforrrat
71 Previous Lodging Tax Grant Information
Previous Years F hs your event received Lodging Tax funds in previous years?
Awarded Lodging Tax r No, this event/project has not previously received Lodging Tax Funding.
Grants* r Yes, 1 year previous
r Yes, 2 years previous
r Yes, 3 or more years previous
How many participants and spectators attended last year's activity and/or will attend
this year?
Prior Year* Projected *
400 400
How many days did/will your event occur?
Prior Year* Projected *
7 7
How many paid overnight stays were and/or will be booked as a result of your
project/event?
Prior Year* Projected *
1,110 1,110
Paid Overnights' Data Support
Explain howthe room nights data above from the prior year was collected and howthe projection for the next year is
derived.
