List of Intended Use of Funds* <br />Newspaper ads: $400 <br />Radio ads: $2000 <br />Facebook/social media ads: $500 <br />PortaPotties: $300 <br />21 Projections of Increased Tourism <br />Please provide the following estimates of how any money received will result in increases in the number of people <br />traveling for business or pleasure on a trip: <br />1. Away from their place of residence or business and staying overnight in paid accommodations; <br />2. To a place fifty miles or more away from their place of residence or business for the day or staying overnight; <br />3. or from another country or state outside of their place of residence or business. <br />You must provide the evidence utilized in determining your projections. <br />Response 2.1: 1. Away fromtheir place of residence or business and staying overnight in paid accommodations. <br />Projection * For our inaugural event, we anticipate at least 30 overnight stays in paid <br />accommodations; more is possible if the event is adequately provided for in <br />entertainment, performers, amenities and promotion. <br />2500 character limit <br />Response 2.1: In the 2013 LTAC grant application for the 2014 "Ye Olde County Faire" event at <br />Evidence * the Kittitas Valley Event Center, it was indicated that the 2013 event (the faire's <br />2nd year) had approximately 1800 in gate attendance, of which about 80 spent the <br />night either in a hotel or camping away from home. <br />2500 character limit <br />Response 2.2: 2.To a place fifty roles cr mnre away from their place of residence or business forthe day or staying overnight; <br />Projection* We anticipate that approximately 500 attendees will travel from at least 50 miles <br />away; more is possible if the event is adequately provided for in entertainment, <br />performers, amenities and promotion. <br />2500 character lirrit <br />Response 2.2: In the 2013 LTAC grant application for the 2014 "Ye Olde County Faire" event at <br />Evidence* the Kittitas Valley Event Center, it was indicated that the 2012 event (the faire's <br />inaugural single -day event) had 60% of the 800 guests attending from outside of <br />the 509 area code, and that most of 2013's 2nd year 1800 attendance were either <br />local or traveling from between 50 to 200 miles, coming primarily for just one day. <br />2500 character limit <br />Response 2.3: 3. or from another country or state outside of their place of residence or business. <br />Projection* There is no reliable data available to anticipate out-of-state or out -of -country <br />attendance, but with the popularity of medieval and renaissance faires, and if the <br />event is adequately provided for in entertainment, performers, amenities and <br />promotion, this is well within the realm of possibility. <br />2500 character limit <br />Response 2.3: The 2013 LTAC grant application for the 2014 "Ye Olde County Faire" event at the <br />Evidence* Kittitas Valley Event Center, which is the most reliable local source of data for our <br />event, doesn't account specifically for out-of-state or out -of -country attendance. <br />2500 character limit <br />Application Questions: Part 2 <br />31 Measuring Results <br />What tools will you use to measure your event's impact on tourism?
