Response 2.2: 2.To a place fifty rriles or rrae away fromtheir place of residence or business fertile day or staying overnight;
Projection * Most of our advertising is aimed at people who live 50 or more miles from Kittitas
County. Traditionally, we've attracted film lovers from all over Washington state,
northern Oregon and, occasionally, from as far away as Kentucky or Texas. Many
visitors stay overnight in Ellensburg; others make it a day trip.
We project that 50 to 60 attendees come to Festival for the day; some people drive
in each day of the Festival; others come to see specific films on one day.Our
activities reach a broad, Pacific Northwest region. We usually have many attendees
from the PCN states, some from states outside the Pacific Northwest and a few from
other countries.
2500 character linit
Response 2.2: The evidence we use to determine our projections includes information on people
Evidence* who attended past Festivals. In 2017, we had attendees complete printed surveys
to give us information on how far they traveled, if they stayed all night, etc. We also
had conversations with Festival goers and looked at ticket sales data to see where
the people purchasing tickets live.
2500 character lirrit
Response 2.3: 3. or fromanother country or state outside of their place of residence or business.
Projection * Our activities reach a broad, Pacific Northwest region. For the 2018 Festival, there is film
talent attending for 12 films; one-third of these are from near Ellensburg; most are
from Washington or Oregon and the rest are from other areas of the country.
2500 character lirrit
Response 2.3: The evidence we use to determine our projections includes information on people
Evidence* who attended past Festivals.
