KITTJT AS SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 403 KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. 18/19.01 CERTIFICATION OF 2019 EXCESS PROPERTY TAXES A RESOLUTION of the Board of Directors of Kittitas School District No. 403, Kittitas County, Washington, certifying to the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington and the Superintendent of Educational Service District 105, the amount of excess property taxes to be levied in year 2018 and collected in year 2019 for the Distrfct's General Fund and Debt Service Fund; and providing for related matters. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF KITTITAS SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 403, KITTITAS COUNTY , W ASHlNGTON, as follows: Section 1. Findi n gs an d Determinations. The Board of Directors (the "Board") of Kittitas School District No. 403, Kittitas County, Washington (the "'District'') takes note of the following facts and makes the following findings and determinations: (a) By Resolution No. 18/19.01 the Board adopted a budget for Fiscal Year 2018-19 (the ''2018-19 Budget") that included certified General Fund educational programs and operation levy excess property taxes in the amount of$1,022,408 to be levied in 2018 and collected in 2019. The Board has detennined that the amount of the District's General Fund educational programs and operation excess tax le previously certified in the 2018-19 Budget of $1,022,408 should now be increased to $1,650,108 . b) The 2018-19 Budget included certified Debt Service Fund excess property taxes to pay debt service on all of the District's outstanding unlimited tax general obligation bonds in the amount of$717,000 to be levied in 2018 and collected in 2019. c) The 2018-19 Budget included certified Capital Projects Fund excess property taxes in the amount of$342,494 to be levied in 2018 and collected in 2019 . Pursuant to RCW 82.52.020, the Board certifies to the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington and the Superintendent of Educational Service District 105, an excess property tax levy in the amount of 1,022,408 to be levied in calendar year 2018 and coUected in calendar year 2019 for the District's Genera] Fund. The Assessor of IGttitas County, Washington, are authorized and directed, without further Board action, to reduce the General Fund excess property tax levy amount to be extended upon the tax rolls and collected in calendar year 2019 to be consistent with the limitations imposed by RCW 84.52.0531. Section 3. Certifica ti on of D ebt Service Fund Excess Prop erty Tax Levy. Pursuant to RCW 82.52.020, the Board certifies to the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington and the Superintendent of Educational Service District 105, an excess property tax levy in the amount of$717,000 to be levied in calendar year 2018 and collected in calendar year 2019 for the District's Debt Service Fund. 53161971 2
