Vantage to Pomona Heights Chapter 4 <br />230 kV Transmission Line Project FEIS Environmental Consequences <br /> PAGE 4-130 <br />positioned such that it would be more than 200 feet above the ground or if an object would penetrate the <br />imaginary surface extending outward and upward at a ratio of 100 to 1 from a public or military airport <br />runway out to a horizontal distance of 20,000 feet (approximately 3.78 miles). If either of these conditions <br />is met, an applicant is required to submit FAA Form 7460-1, Notice of Proposed Construction or <br />Alteration, to the Manager, Air Traffic Division, FAA Regional Office having jurisdiction over the area <br />for review and approval of the project. <br />The proposed Project will comply with all appropriate regulations of the FAA, and Form 7460-1 would <br />be required of Pacific Power pursuant to FAA Regulations, Part 77. Final locations of the crossing <br />structures, and structure heights, including the transmission lines, conductors, and construction related <br />equipment or facilities that might impact air navigation would be submitted to the FAA for the proposed <br />Project. The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), Aviation Division will also be <br />contacted. <br />Refer to Section 4.7-Transportation for WSDOT permitting and approvals necessary to cross Interstate (I) <br />82 and State Route (SR) 243. <br />4.4.4 Impacts Specific to Route Segments and Design Options <br />Long- and short-term impacts to land use were assessed for each route segment and are presented in Table <br />4.4-2.
