From:mscanes
To:Jeremy Johnston
Cc:Arnie Tyler
Subject:RE: Vantage to Pomona regarding CU-18-00001
Date:Thursday, September 06, 2018 9:39:15 AM
Attachments:Vantage to Pomona Access.tif
Mr. Jeremy Johnston

I apologize initially I did not specifically ask if Roza View Drive was going to be used to access this
project. Take 5 Home Owners Association (HOA) does have a concern that if any heavy equipment
drives or is transported across Roza View Drive it will have a detrimental impact to utilities, base
foundation and asphalt covering our roads. Could you please voice Take 5 HOA’s concerns about the
use of Roza View Drive to access this project. Take 5 would like the road evaluated and repairs made
prior to any heavy equipment using Roza View Drive.

Thanks
Michael Scanes
Take 5 Treasurer.
425-210-0253

From: Jeremy Johnston [mailto:jeremy.johnston@co.kittitas.wa.us]
Sent: Tuesday, September 4, 2018 10:13 AM
To: 'mscanes'
Subject: RE: Vantage to Pomona regarding CU-18-00001

Mr. Scanes,

I apologize, I must have missed that part of your question. I have attached another map. The Blue
and Orange lines represent roads that will be improved (blue) or created (orange). If you look closely
you will see a blue line north of your location that connects the project from Canyon Road. These are
the access roads being proposed by the application and will likely be the primary if not exclusive
access routes. That being said, the application states that the project sites in this section will utilize
roads off of 821. It does not state specifically which roads it will be using. If you are concerned with
potential damage to Roza View Dr., I would recommend submitting comments to me stating these
concerns prior to September 11, so that they can be considered and potentially mitigated for in any
future determination. You are welcome to email comments to this address and I will be sure to
include them in the record. I hope this helps.

Jeremy Johnston, MURP
Kittitas CDS, Planner
(509) 962-7065
jeremy.johnston@co.kittitas.wa.us

Index # 28
