"Subunit" means an individual cost center or budget unit within a claiming unit (LHJ). <br />"Successor" means any entity or individual which, through amalgamation, consolidation, or <br />other legal succession becomes invested with rights and assumes burdens of the first <br />contractor/vendor or any person who succeeds to the office, rights, responsibilities or place of <br />another. <br />"USC" means the United States Code. All references in this Contract to USC chapters or <br />sections shall include any successor, amended, or replacement statute.
