The Director assists businesses and <br />connects them with programs from Washington State, Kittitas County, the Ellensburg <br />Business Development Authority, and others. <br />DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION <br />The Director is responsible for the following duties, and other duties as assigned: <br />Business Development: <br />• Serve as the primary contact for Kittitas County economic development <br />services and resources. <br />• Assist expanding local businesses and relocating out-of county businesses. <br />• Assist county businesses with challenges. <br />• Publicize available business development services. <br />• Track economic development grants. <br />• Maintain relationships with City/County Community Development offices, <br />key community members, and employers. <br />• Oversee the filing of required reports. <br />Regional Collaboration: <br />• Collaborate with Yakima's New Vision and with the Central Washington <br />Economic Development District. <br />Professional Development: <br />• Attend conferences and training sessions. <br />Professional Profile: <br />• Strong communication skills. <br />• Interest in business development <br />• College degree or equivalent experience. <br />609 North Main Street, Ellensburg WA 98926, 509-925-2002, www.kittitascountychamber.com
