LU6 Office are those land uses which are owned, or operated by units of <br />government and provide the administration of public programs, which <br />are identified by Kittitas County staff. Also included are offices with <br />minimal customer traffic. This includes the state patrol. Measured in <br />thousand square feet. <br />LU7 FIRES (Finance Insurance Real Estate and Services) includes a variety of <br />uses identified by Kittitas County staff. Services and offices include banks <br />or other financial institutions, real estate and insurance offices, personal <br />services, such as laundry or cleaning services, business services such as <br />advertising, automotive repairs, amusements, churches, health care, <br />medical, legal services and other assorted services. Measured in thousand <br />square feet. <br />L US Elementary and Middle Schools were updated using information <br />obtained from the Washington State Office of the Superintendent of <br />Instruction (OSPI). The website of OSPI listed the number of students that <br />attend each public school during the 2007-2008 school year. Measured in <br />numbers of students. <br />LU9 High Schools were updated using information obtained from the <br />Washington State Office of the Superintendent of Instruction (OSPI). The <br />website of OSPI listed the number of students that attend each public <br />school during the 2007-2008 school year. Measured in numbers of <br />students. <br />LU10 College and University are measured in number of full time equivalent <br />students using data obtained from Central Washington University's <br />website on enrollment during the 2007-2008 school year. <br />LU11 Agriculture/Forestry/Mining generally relate to agricultural production <br />and services without irrigation. Measured in acres. <br />LU12 Agriculture-Upper County is a subdivision of LU11 for those uses in the <br />Upper County area.
