BOWERS FIELD -AIRPORT MASTER PLAN <br />Product: Documentation and evaluation of landside facility requirements for Input to later tasks. <br />Task 5.6 • Develop Facility Requirements Working Paper <br />The Consultant will develop a detailed working paper describing the tasks outlined above. The draft <br />working paper will provide Information for subsequent decisions. This working paper will be submitted <br />to Kittitas County and the Federal Aviation Administration for review and comment approximately two <br />weeks prior to scheduled meetings (See Element 15 for document distribution details). The draft <br />working paper will be distributed to the planning advisory committee at least one week prior to a <br />scheduled meeting. <br />Product: A narrative and graphical summary of the facility requirements analysis; the working paper will <br />be revised as necessary based on review comments and will become a chapter of the Airport Master Pion <br />report. <br />ELEMENT 6 · SUMMARY OF ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS <br />The Consultant will evaluate the status of known environmental Issues during the initial stages of data <br />collection (Element 3). This information will be incorporated into subsequent facility requirements, <br />alternatives, and land use analyses. The impacts of storm drainage, water quality and potential wetland <br />impacts will be addressed as part of the evaluation of existing conditions and any future expansion <br />options. <br />Task 6.1 • Environmental Conditions Inventory <br />6 .1.1 -Part 1-Existing Conditions <br />Utilizing existing maps of the airport environs and existing environmental documents, the Consultant <br />will prepare an environmental inventory/overview of the Airport's environmental setting and operating <br />environment. No formal coordination with federal and state agencies will be conducted as part of this <br />work element. Informal coordination may occur during the process of obtaining existing documents, <br />etc. from various agencies. <br />This task does not include analysis or other scientific evaluation of resources. This summary is intended <br />to reference any known or potential environmental conditions or issues that could be affected by <br />proposed airport development that have been identified in recent environmental efforts conducted on <br />the airfield. <br />Gather and review studies and secondary source data concerning area environmental factors related to <br />airport development. Information gathered will include information on: <br />Page I 21
