BOWERS FIELD -AIRPORT MASTER PLAN <br />Task 3.3 -Airport Facilities Inventory <br />The Consultant will utilize inventory data contained In the previous Airport Master Plan and the Airfield <br />Needs Assessment In addition to other airport specific, regional, or state aviation system planning <br />studies. Other data sources including the FAA Airport Record Form 5010, pavement management plan, <br />construction drawings and other relevant documents, as provided by airport management. An on-site <br />inspection of major components of the airport will also be performed. The examination will include a <br />determination of the facility's use, type, size, condition, and adequacy, and extent it meets or exceeds <br />FAA standards. The findings documented in the Inventory Chapter will be used to support analyses <br />throughout the master plan. The facilities that will be inventoried and the data that will be provided <br />include but are not limited to the following: <br />Airfield/ Airspace <br />A. Airfield Pavements -pavement thickness, pavement markings and signage, strength and <br />construction history of runway, taxiway and apron pavements. The most recent WSDOT <br />Aviation Pavement Management Plan for the airport will be utilized in addition to <br />review of existing design drawings. Collocated thresholds, confusing geometry, non- <br />standard conditions, MODs, RON <br />B. Airspace -NAVAIDs, procedures, air traffic, obstructions, weather (is this Task 2.6?) <br />C. On-airport Airfield Lighting and Navigational Aids. <br />Facilities (GA and/or terminal) <br />D. On-airport buildings by type, use and condition (ownership and use data to be provided <br />by Kittitas County). Hangars, aprons, flight schools, based aircraft <br />E. Fixed Base Operator (FBO) facilities and services, including aircraft maintenance and any <br />assigned management responsibilities for County-owned rental hangars, local or <br />transient aircraft parking positions, aircraft fueling facilities, etc. <br />Support Facilities <br />F. Fuel Facilities -storage and issue locations, capacities and condition of existing and <br />proposed facilities. Records of existing underground storage tanks (UST) and the historic <br />removal of any USTs located on the airport will be provided by Kittitas County. <br />G. FAA-owned facilities, local emergency response facilities and capabilities. <br />H. Airport Maintenance Equipment -airport maintenance and snow removal equipment <br />will be documented (data to be provided by Kittitas County). <br />Page I 9
