BOWERS FIELD—AIRPORT MASTER PLAN <br />Product. An On -Airport Land Use Plan for oil land within the ultimate airport property. <br />Task 8.8 — Off -Airport Land Use Plan <br />The Off -Airport Land Use Plan drawing will depict existing and recommended uses of all land in the <br />vicinity of the airport, generally identified as that area surrounding the airport, generally within %-mile <br />of the facility. Land uses will be depicted by existing and future comprehensive plan land use categories, <br />including such as agriculture, residential, industrial, commercial, open space, aviation -related, public, <br />etc. Current zoning designations will also be depicted. <br />Off -airport land use will be illustrated on a drawing (same sheet size as the ALP) and described within <br />the body of the Master Plan document. Findings resulting from this study effort will be incorporated <br />into environs land use recommendations that will be provided to affected governmental jurisdictions In <br />the vicinity of the Airport. The Consultant will work with the Kittitas County and City of Ellensburg <br />planning departments during the development of the Off -Airport Land Use Plan drawing to ensure that <br />recommendations needed to implement any changes in land use designations or zoning have been <br />thoroughly reviewed. It is noted that master plan addresses a 20 -year planning horizon that does not <br />typically require immediate Implementation for all action items. <br />Product. An Off -Airport Land Use Plan for lands in the vicinity of the airport. <br />Task 8.9 — Exhibit "A" Airport Property Map <br />An Exhibit "A" drawing will be prepared depicting property ownership, avigatlon and surface easements. <br />The current airport boundary along with detailed parcel information (grantor, grantee, type of interest, <br />acreage, book & page, date of recording, and appropriate FAA project application numbers If applicable <br />is to be provided to the Consultant by Kittitas County or secondary sources. The Exhibit "A" will be <br />prepared in accordance with FAA SOP 3.0. <br />Product. Exhibit "A" Property Map <br />ELEMENT 9 - COMPATIBLE LAND USE PLANNING IN THE VICINITY OF AIRPORTS <br />The Consultant will evaluate both airport and off -airport land uses in the vicinity of the airport to <br />address the potential development of a broad range of land uses that are compatible with airport <br />operations and support the region's economic development strategy. The goal of this effort is to <br />identify what types, acreages, and locations of economic development land are appropriate and legally <br />allowed to be Identified for future development compatible with the aeronautical operations at the <br />airport. <br />CENTURY wE9T 130 <br />4 ! r Y V <br />
