Product: Draft Environmental Assessment, which will be available for public review . <br />Task 4.4 -Public Review Draft EA <br />Objective: Issue copies of Draft EA for public review . <br />Approach: The Consultant will print up to 5 copies of the Draft EA for public review . The Consultant <br />will prepare a notice that can be made available for print in local newspapers of general circulation <br />for the record. Response forms and agency comment letters will be produced and collected by the <br />Consultant for inclusion in the Final EA document. Any other public or agency correspondence will <br />be included in the Final EA. <br />Product: A Draft EA for public review and distribution. <br />Task 4.5 -Public Hearing <br />Objective: A public hearing will be held if requested to provide an opportunity for public input on the <br />proposed improvements. <br />Approach: A public hearing will be held to provide an opportunity for public comment on the Draft <br />EA. The Consultant will provide a briefing to the public on the findings of the Draft EA and provide an <br />opportunity for formal public testimony. The Draft EA will be available for public review at least 30 <br />days before the hearing occurs. <br />Product: The Consultant will schedule, plan and conduct the public hearing with the support of <br />County staff. The Consultant will prepare meeting advertisements, presentation, displays, handouts, <br />and meeting transcript. The transcript will be included as an Appendix in the Final EA document. <br />Task 4.6 -Response to Comments <br />Objective: Consultant will collect and catalogue Agency and public comments received on both the <br />Draft EA and the Preliminary Final EA. <br />Approach: The Consultant will compile all correspondence and comments from Agencies, <br />stakeholders, and the public. The letters and comments will be summarized in a table organized by <br />topic and original copies of the letters and comment forms will be included in an Appendix. When <br />required, the Consultant will prepare response letters to address comments and/or coordinate with <br />FAA to address comments received through the EA review process. <br />Task 4.7-Preliminary Final EA <br />Objective: Prepare and submit to FAA a preliminary Final EA including compiling of agency comments <br />and addressing any issues raised as a result of agency reviews or public input. The Preliminary Final <br />EA will be made available to FAA for review. <br />Approach: The Consultant will prepare a preliminary Final EA for review by FAA.
