A7 CLEAN AIR AND WATER POLLUTION CONTROL <br />A7.1 SOURCE <br />2 CFR § 200, Appendix II(G) <br />A7.2 APPLICABILITY <br />Contract Types —This provision is required for all contracts and lower tier contracts that exceed <br />$150,000. <br />Use of Provision — No mandatory language provided. The following language is acceptable to the FAA <br />and meets the intent of this requirement. if the sponsor uses different language, the sponsor's <br />language must fully satisfy the requirements of Appendix II to 2 CFR §200. <br />A7.3 CONTRACT CLAUSE <br />CLEAN AIR AND WATER POLLUTION CONTROL <br />Contractor agrees to comply with all applicable standards, orders, and regulations issued pursuant to the <br />Clean Air Act (42 USC § 740-7671 q) and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act as amended (33 USC <br />§ 1251-1387). The Contractor agrees to report any violation to the Owner immediately upon discovery. <br />The Owner assumes responsibility for notifying the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the <br />Federal Aviation Administration. <br />Contractor must include this requirement in all subcontracts that exceeds $150,000. <br />Guidelines for Contract Provisions for Obligated Sponsors and Airport Improvement Program Projects <br />Issued on December 12, 2017 Page 24 <br />
