(HEG) appreciates the opportunity to provide Century West with a fee
proposal for cultural resources services associated with the Bowers Field Airport, Kittitas County 2018
Environmental Assessment Targeted Projects.
As previously outlined HEG's the scope of work, archaeological work for the Bowers Field project will
entail a full literature review, and pedestrian survey of the entire airport property (ca. 1300 acres). If cultural
materials are encountered during the surface investigation, a Washington State Isolate or Site form, as
appropriate, will be filled out for each deposit and HEG will make recommendations for further work, if
needed. The results will be summarized in a Section -106 compliant technical report.
Pending the results of the pedestrian survey, subsurface investigations may be necessary. The fee for
subsurface testing, if applicable, will be determined following the pedestrian survey.
The cost to complete the literature review, pedestrian survey and reporting will be: $20,836.26.
We look forward to being part of the team for the Bowers Field Airport, Kittitas County 2018
Environmental Assessment. Please contact me at 503-944-9305 or through email at dholschuh ea@,heg_
inc.com if you have questions or need additional information.
Sincerely,
Dana Holsehuh, M.A., RPA
HARRIS ENVIRONMENTAL GROUP, INC.
3137 NE ROSA PARKS WAY J PORTLAND, OR 97211 1
