Collaboration* 51 Future Plans The Kittitas Valley Event Center welcomes nearly 1,500 annual events with 100,000 annual visitors. We WJrk in close partnership with the Kittitas County Fair Board and Ellensburg Rodeo Board. We are members of the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce, we have regular internships with students from Central Washington University, and we have cooperative agreements with the City of Ellensburg for the use of Memorial Park and Reed Park. We WJuld hazard a guess that nearly every non-profit, government and many private businesses in Central Washington have either attended or hosted an event on our grounds. We offer event planning assistance to those groups/individuals who need it, we personally interact with wedding planners and brides and grooms, we assist with strategizing for large events for parking and camping, and we provide staff support to the Kittitas County Fair and Ellensburg Rodeo. 2500 character limt Please explain what plans exist to allow this project to become self-sustaining. Future Plans* The Kittitas Valley Event Center anticipates that this event will become self- sustaining within 4-years as it gram and becomes more popular. We have plans for adding carnival attractions, BMX racing events, and possibly a demolition derby to the weekend. In addition, we may consider adding a Friday evening or Sunday morning event to expand the weekend.
