Construction Phase: <br />Estimated Start Date: A pr il 201 6 Estimated End Date: :..;A;::.ug.::J.u;::.:s=.,:t-=2:..::0...:..1..:....7 _____ _ <br />Please explain phase status (work already completed, in progress, awaiting funding, etc., and factors that <br />may slow phase progress). <br />In Progress: The climbing poles have been received, and a volunteer group from the High Country Log <br />Show will be removing the old poles and installing the new ones in July 2016. The bleachers are on order <br />and a volunteer group from the Upper Kittitas County Coed Softball League will be removing the existing, <br />dangerous bleachers and installing the new ones once they arrive. <br />Awaiting Funding: multi-game court relocation, way-finding signs, bike racks, power to park. <br />The wayfinding signs and bike racks can be designed, purchased, and installed by staff. The power and <br />court work will need to be completed by a contractor, and therefore may be delayed in the process of <br />contracting. <br />6. Explain how this infrastructure project has been coordinated, or will be coordinated with other <br />jurisdictions, such as counties, cities, state/federal agenc i es, and with \economic development organizations <br />during planning, deSign , finanCing, construction and/or operation phases. <br />These projects have been identified as a priority after receiving community feedback as well as feedback <br />from event coordinators. The design for the facility improvements will include work done by the Roslyn <br />Downtown Association as part of their 2009 and 2010 Storefront Studio Project completed in conjunction <br />with the University of Washington, both of which were formally adopted by the Roslyn City Council in <br />October 2010. <br />In June 2016, a Community Meeting was held in conjunction with the Roslyn Planning and Historic <br />Preservation Commission to discuss parking in the Commercial Zone, which resulted in the identification of <br />wayfinding signs as a priority. <br />We have received feedback and offers to coordinate efforts on the proposed projects from the Roslyn <br />Business Group, Upper Kittitas County Coed Softball League, High Country Log Show, and Northwest <br />Bicycle Improvement Company. <br />Further, all projects will be reviewed by the Roslyn Planning and Historic Preservation Commission as <br />well as the Roslyn City Council, both in Open Public Meetings. <br />12
