I.U > <br />6 <br />I.U <br />~ o <br />Milestone: Place new equipment in the training room closet and <br />install in van. <br />Program Area #7 Damage Assessment <br />August 2016 to September 2016 <br />Kittitas County Emergency Management has created an after disaster response team comprised of a <br />member of the Assessor's Office, Community Development, Public Health, and Public Works that will go <br />out and inspect damage. The team will assess damage and assign a monetary amount, and categorize <br />whether or not the residence is inhabitable. A GPS enabled digital camera will be purchased to allow a <br />photograph of the damage to be GPS location tagged and to be wirelessly sent to the EOC and included in <br />maps through GIS programs . This will allow the EOC to estimate damages a lot more quickly and <br />efficiently. <br />Emergency Management Function: EOC Operations <br />Performance Measurers) that will be used to evaluate the program area <br />Target (intended outcome) <br />The camera will enable the disaster response team to quickly <br />assess damages from a man-made, natural or terrorist disaster and <br />relay the information back to the EOC.
