The video capacity has slowed down the server system through the county . New equipment will <br />move the 58 cameras and the video recording and house it on its own server . This will allow a standalone <br />system that is better equipped to handle the massive contents of the video cameras and recording <br />information. This project will increase the safety and security of critical government buildings, employees <br />and private citizens conducting government business. The system will allow quicker response to threats in <br />county buildings, which is of benefit to everyone using the county courthouse. <br />Emergency Management Function: Facilities <br />Performance Measure{s) that will be used to evaluate the program area <br />Target (intended outcome) <br />Update County surveillance system by installing a new video server <br />allowing for faster reaction and response to threats from the <br />courthouse security personnel that monitor the cameras. The THIRA tool will help <br />~ update Kittitas County current threat and hazards specific to the county . The objective is to identify risks <br />6 associated with the whole community in Kittitas County by involving more stakeholders in the process. <br />UJ co This assessment will be attached to the CEMP to help with future incidents or events.
