I. PURPOSE: <br />Continuity of operations ensures that KCPHD is capable of conducting its essential mission to <br />protect and promote the health and environment of the people of Kittitas County during <br />emergencies and disasters. <br />II. SITUATION OVERVIEW: <br />KCPHD must continue to supervise the maintenance of all health and sanitary measures for the <br />protection of the public health within its jurisdiction, even during an emergency or disaster. <br />KCPHD has evaluated its daily operations as well as staffing needs, which are found within the <br />attachments, the policy Working with a Public Health Emergency and the Emergency Succession <br />Plan. <br />87
