Level of education Amount per month, above base pay <br />Associates $50.00 <br />Bachelors $75.00 <br />Masters $100.00 <br />ARTICLE 23 -STRIKES AND LOCKOUTS <br />23.1 Strikes, slowdowns, work stoppages, or any other interference with the work by the employees are <br />prohibited. <br />23.2 The Employer may discharge and/or discipline any employee who violates Section 23.1. No <br />employee shall be entitled to any pay and/or benefits for the period in which he/she engaged in any <br />strikes, slowdowns, work stoppages or other interference with work. <br />23.3 Nothing contained herein shall preclude the Employer from obtaining judicial restraint and damages <br />in the event of a violation of this Article. <br />23.4 No lockout of employees shall be instituted by the Employer. <br />ARTICLE 24 -MEDICAL, DENTAL, VISION, AND LIFE BENEFITS <br />24.1 Medical: Effective January 1, 2017 and for the remaining term of this Agreement, the following <br />medical, dental and vision provisions shall apply. <br />Medical coverage will be provided through Washington Teamsters Welfare Trust Health and <br />Welfare Plan A, dental coverage will be provided through WTWT Dental Plan A, vision coverage will <br />be provided through Vision Plan EX, and life coverage will be provided through WTWT Life Plan B. <br />Effective January 1, 2017 and for each year of the contract, the total cost of health care (medical, <br />dental, vision, and life) each month shall be divided between the Employer and the employee on the <br />basis of the Employer paying ninety percent (90%) of the total health care cost and the employee <br />paying ten percent (10%) of the total health care cost by payroll deduction. To be eligible for health <br />care coverage, the employee must have been compensated for eighty (80) hours or more in the <br />preceding month. <br />24.2 All of the above-referenced medical, dental, vision and life plans are subject to the Washington <br />Teamsters Welfare Trust Health and Welfare Plan provisions. All costs, coverage and conditions of <br />eligibility are subject to the terms, conditions, procedures and guidelines established from time to <br />time by the Washington Teamsters Health and Welfare Plans; thus, the parties to this Agreement <br />agree to adhere to said changes during the term of this Agreement. The Employer's contribution <br />toward health care for regular part-time employees shall be on a pro-rata basis, based upon the <br />employee's assigned hours. <br />22 Kittitas County Line Deputies 1/1/17 -12/31/21
