A lthough great effort was put into bri nging all eligible
jurisdictions into the process, some jurisdictions chos e not to participate or did not follow through at the ,end :to
complete their annex. The focus on the update w ill be to involve more Jurisdictions into the plan , a feat that Is
very possible due to the abnormal number of disasters that have occurred within the county in the past few
years , including numerous fires causing great damage, small earthquakes Which have yet to c;:luse damage ,
and a drought which is just beginn ing.
Attachments:
Kittitas County HMP Update SOW.pdf
C o unty Map.pdf
https :lleservi ces.fema.gov/FEMAM itigationIPrint.do
8118/2015
Print Application
Description Of Task
Schedule
Starting
Unit Of Time Duration Unit Of Time Work Complete By
Plann ing Partners , Planning
Phase 1: Organ ize & Review MONTHS 3 MONTHS
Phase 2 : Identif y Hazards and
Update Risk A ssessment
Phase 3 : Develop/Implement
Public Invo lvement Strat egy
Phase 4 : Update Goals.
Objectives and Actions
Phase 5 : Develop Plan for
2
2
4
Team, Steering Committee , Contract Consultant
Contract Consultant, Planning Team
15PDM
MONTHS 6 MONTHS
MONTHS 12 MONTHS
MONTHS 2 MONTHS
Page 34 of43
Point
Kittitas County Dept.
