CPD3 Publ ic Education <br />911 <br />CPD4 Salaries/Benefits <br />CP05 <br />CPD6 <br />CPD7 <br />and Training <br />911 Call Receiver <br />Training <br />NG911 <br />Modernization <br />911 Interpretive <br />Services <br />Up to $5,000 (perffscal year) is authorized for expenses directly related <br />to info rming the public of the ca pabilities , limitations , and proper use of <br />E9 11, which Includes training , salaries, travel , supplies and materials. <br />Expenses for purchases and traini ng must be pre-approv:ed by the E911 <br />Program Manager and/o r Fin ancia l Coordi nator. Back-fill is not eligib le <br />under th i~ line item. See: Public Education Policy. <br />Training Policy, Salaries & Benefits Summary <br />Up to $13,500 (per fiscal year) is authorized for salaries/benefits and <br />training expenses for the following positions: MSAG , Mapping/GIS , <br />and/or Information Technology Coordinator(s). Backfill is not eligible <br />under this line item. <br />Should there be additional funds available followin g fulfillment of County <br />and'CPO Contracts and/or NG M,oderniz.ation of C P ElTeleph one <br />systems have been completed , SECO may authorize add itional f unds for <br />each of the 39 counties to be used solely for the purpose of NG911 <br />MSAG/GIS Modernization , provided that if a county c.ertifi es they have <br />completed MSAG/GIS Modernization they may use the fu nds for other <br />modernization efforts. The amount of the funding will be determined by <br />SECO if there are additional funds. <br />See: Training Policy, Sa/aries & Benefits Summary <br />Tota l trai ning funds shall be calcu lated at $500 (per fiscal year) per full- <br />time call receiver at the primary PSAP(s) with a cap not to exceed 30 call <br />recei vers pe r county. Eligible expe ns es include: airfare, registration fee, <br />luggage fee , parking , lodging, meals, rental vehicles, fuel, travel c osts for <br />mil eag e (personall y-own ed vehicles or agency vehicl es that employee <br />an d/or PSAP is ch arged a fee to use), training materials and overtime <br />and backfill while in training status. <br />See: Training Policy <br />Costs related to modernization of the E911 System as authorized and <br />pre-approved by the State E911 Coordinator. <br />Should th ere be addition al funds availa ble following fulfill ment of County <br />and CPD Cont ra cts andior NG Modern ization of CPE/Te lephone <br />systems have been completed, SECO may authorize additional funds for <br />each of the 39 counties to be used solely for the purpose of NG911 <br />MSAG/GIS Modernization , provided that if a county certifies they have <br />completed MSAG/GIS Modernization they may use the fu nds for other <br />modernization efforts.
