for bank erosion rates; given alluvial bank composition similar to the bed material <br />and bar accretion -bank erosion. <br />Soil information (size and composition) along the proposed alignment for Lick <br />Creek at depths at or below the anticipated creek profile will be provided by the <br />geotechnical CONSULTANT. <br />• STRUCTURES <br />♦ Replacement Structure for Lick Creek site is expected to be 45ft to 50ft span <br />premanufactured structure. <br />♦ Spread Footing foundations at the Lick Creek site will be feasible with Preliminary <br />Hydraulic Analysis and Geotechnical Recommendations. <br />♦ The selected culvert type for the Story Creek site is a four-sided precast concrete box <br />culvert and will be feasible with the Geotechnical Recommendations. <br />♦ For the Story Creek site, the maximum opening height of the culvert will be 10 ft. and <br />the maximum opening width will be 19 ft. <br />♦ The selected manufactured culvert at each site will be feasible with the hydraulic <br />analysis. <br />♦ Replacement Structure Final Design for each site will be composed of site specific <br />geometric conditions and performance specifications for structural design. <br />♦ The final manufactured culvert, headwall, and wingwall plans shall be produced, <br />stamped, and scaled by a Professional Engineer in the State of Washington by the <br />manufacturer. <br />♦ For the Lick Creek site, spread footing foundations compatible with manufactured <br />culvert design will be provided by the Consultant and will be based on culvert designs <br />produced and developed by the culvert manufacturer. <br />♦ The opinion of construction unit costs shall be on a basis of the current WSDOT Unit Bid <br />Analysis and recent CONSULTANT's experience. <br />♦ Specifications shall be based on the current edition of the WSDOT Standard <br />Specifications with the current Amendments. <br />♦ The number, format, and contents of the 100% plan sheets shall generally remain <br />unchanged from the 90% completion. <br />♦ COUNTY's review at the 100% stage is for the purpose of verifying that comments <br />transmitted at 90% completion were incorporated into 100% documents, as mutually <br />agreed. It is assumed that "additional" design comments will not be generated at this <br />stage. <br />• ROADWAY <br />Survey effort and associated deliverables will be provided by the County <br />Effort based on an estimated sheet count of 28 sheets (13 for Story Creek site, 15 for <br />Lick Creek site). <br />Expected sheet types are vicinity map, index, roadway section(s), site preparation, <br />MOT/TCP, paving/grading, ROW, culvert/stream plan & cross-section, planting plan, <br />and miscellaneous details. <br />Scope of Smice_Teanaway Hyd Imp_Amend 01_2018-04.19 <br />Page 17 of 19 <br />
