including photographs taken during the site reconnaissance, text, tables, and figures
that describe the results of the hydrologic, geomorphic, hydraulic, and scour analyses.
If deemed necessary, a description of scour countermeasure recommendations will be
provided. The report will include key hydraulic data needed for permit application. A
draft version of the Final Basis of Design Report will be provided for review and one (1)
set of comments.
• 30%,60%,90%& 100% Design
♦ Assist team to develop design details and special provisions.
• DELIVERABLES
♦ One (1) Preliminary Basis of Design
♦ One (1) Final Basis of Design
TASK 7.2 — Lick Creek
1. Geomorphic Reach Assessment
1.1. Conduct a rapid geomorphic assessment on the Teanaway River using available aerials,
existing reports and cross sections provided by the County. The cross sections will be
used to conduct a normal depth calculation to obtain hydraulic parameters necessary
to conduct a sediment transport relation to determine if the addition of flows from Lick
Creek have a significant effect on sediment transport in the Teanaway River.
2. Bank Stability Assessment and Design
2.1. Bank and channel stability through the re -aligned segment of Lick Creek will be
conducted using the geotechnical information provided by the CONSULTANT team.
Deleted Scone:
• Hydrology
♦ Hydrology for Lick Creek will be determined by reviewing:
Scour Analysis
Depth of scour estimates will be computed at up to two (2) residential/private property
water crossings. These estimates will be provided for consideration in design of the
proposed water crossing structures.
TASK 8 RIGHT-OF-WAY EASEMENT/ACQUISITION
The original scope of work shown in this task requires a decreased level of effort for the Lick
Creek site. The original scope was to secure four separate Temporary Construction Easements
from private parcels. The new scope directed by the COUNTY is to support the COUNTY in
obtaining agreement with Department of Natural Resources to construct a new creek channel
on their one parcel. The new or deleted scope is shown below:
• Added Scone:
• Lick Creek:
♦ Prepare a Site Inspection Report (up to one parcel).
Scope of Service—Teanaway Hyd Imp Amend 012018-04-19
Page 5 of 19
