Section 9-03.4(2) of the Standard Specifications shall be supplemented with the <br />following: <br />Items 7A, 7B, and 7C in the bid proposal "Coverstone Maintenance' shall meet all the <br />requirements of Section 9-03.4(2) except that it shall meet the following specifications for grading, <br />fracture and sand equivalent: <br />Sieve Size <br />3/4" square <br />5/8" square <br />US No. 4 <br />US No. 200 <br />% fracture <br />Sand equivalent <br />Percent Passing <br />100 <br />95-100 <br />20-45 <br />0-5.0 <br />90 Min. <br />40 Min. <br />The third paragraph of Section 9-03.4(2) is revised to read: <br />The fracture requirement shall be at least two fractured faces and will apply to the <br />combined aggregate retained on the U.S. No. 4 sieve in accordance with FOP for AASHTO <br />T 335. <br />Section 9-03.4(2) shall be supplemented with the following: <br />Course aggregate shall not contain more than 10% of aggregate greater than 150% of the <br />maximum sieve size for the specified grading measured along the line of greatest <br />dimension. <br />LOCATION OF STOCKPILED MATERIAL: <br />The Vendor will manufacture and stockpile the product at their Identified Facility. It is <br />understood that should aggregate fail to meet specification at any time prior to transport, it <br />remains rejected until corrective measures bring the aggregate back into specification. <br />Bid items 1A, 1B, and 1C in the bid proposal "Maintenance Sand" shall be available for County <br />use no later than September 1°t, 2018. <br />Bid items 7A, 7B, and 7C in the bid proposal "Coverstone Maintenance" shall be available for <br />County use no later than June 1`t, 2018. <br />BID ITEM QUANTITIES: <br />The quantities of material listed on the attached bid sheets are for bidding purposes only. Due to <br />budget and variable work environment, the quantity of purchased aggregate may vary. Kittitas <br />County does not guarantee quantities shown will be purchased. <br />Quantities are offered only to provide the Vendor with an estimate of demand. The Vendor shall <br />make such revisions in their work as necessary to accommodate changes in the demand without <br />additional compensation. <br />
