The purpose of a <br />campground use shall relate primarily to vacation, recreation and similar pursuits, and is not a place of <br />permanent residence for the campers. A single-family residence may be allowed for the owner or <br />caretaker. Very limited service commercial activities may be allowed which are intended for campers of <br />the campground and must be approved as part of a conditional use permit. (Ord. 2013-012, 2013; Ord. <br />2013-001, 2013; Ord. 2007-22, 2007) <br />I fail to understand the purpose of a campground in this proposal. As defined in 17.03.155 " The <br />purpose of a campground use shall relate primarily to vacation, recreation and similar pursuits. " I do <br />not believe traveling a few blocks from my home to a campground could be considered a vacation, a <br />type of recreation. <br />The Determination of Significance and adoption of existing environmental <br />In the preface of the addendum to the Final EIS there is reference to a mini -storage facility. 1 am not <br />able to locate a reference to such a facility in the proposal. The proposal does indicate that RV <br />storage buildings that would be owned presumably by the RV owner. I believe an individually owned <br />RV storage unit is substantially different than a mini -storage. <br />The project description should have included reference to the abandon rock quarry. <br />The summary of alternatives — "revised proposal" does not include the proposed campground and RV <br />storage facility. Have those items been removed from the proposal? <br />The CC&Rs of the Easton Acres plat require a 75% approval of its residents to conduct commercial <br />activities on a parcel. The use of lot 3 of Easton Acres for access to the proposed development is not <br />allowed by those CC&Rs which run with the land. Residents of Easton Acres intend to file a civil action <br />to prevent the proposed access to the development. <br />4 <br />
