Event Description
Chinook Entertainment has partnered with The Summit at Snoqualmie for a second year of
Chinook Fest Summit. Athree day event featuring local artisans, food, camping, Northwest beer, wine and
cider, but most importantly, some of the finest Roots Rock, Funk, Folk and Americana music around. The
event will host 20 regionally and nationally touring acts, including Current Swell, Young in the City, Rust
on the Rails, Magic Giant and many more.
Gates for the festival will open Friday afternoon, July 8th at 4:00pm. Music, vendors and food and
beverage service will commence at 4:00pm, running until 11:00pm. Musical acts will perform on two
stages, switching back and forth, to allow set-up on one stage while the other stage is live. The Main Stage
will be placed at the base of Summit Central's Main Lodge, side stage will be placed on the Summit Central
Plaza and vendors will line the Plaza area. Saturday festivities will commence at 11:00am and end at
11:30pm. Sunday will commence at 10:00am and end at 1:00pm.
This is an all -ages, family friendly event. Chinook Fest Summit will host a Kids Corner, featuring tie
dye, face painting, decorating musical instruments and a bouncy house. Yoga, hiking and recreation
rentals will also be incorporated to be enjoyed by all ages. Camping will be provided in designated areas
adjacent to the main festival grounds, with deluxe camping being held at the lift bases overlooking the
festival grounds. Campfires will not be permitted.
Food and beverage service will be provided by the Summit at Snoqualmie through their restaurant
facilities and will be offered in the Plaza and near the main stage.
Chinook Entertainment is in its fifth year producing Chinook Fest Central, a similar event nestled
in the Cascade Mountains along the Naches River at Jim Sprick Community Park. Our growing experience
allows us to incorporate the necessary elements to ensure the safety and well-being of each festival goer
while allowing them a memorable experience and expanding their cultural and musical understanding of
what the great state of Washington has to offer. We pride ourselves on the sustainability of our events,
putting an ever growing emphasis on recycling and leave no trace; it is always our intention to leave the
land which we use in better condition than when we arrived. We look forward to expanding and growing
a lasting relationship with the businesses and cities throughout the 1-90 corridor.
Hours of Operation — Request for County Noise Ordinance Wavier
In 2015 hours of operation were Fri: 2pm —11pm, Sat: 10am —11pm, Sun: 11am — 6pm.
