Event Description <br />Chinook Entertainment has partnered with The Summit at Snoqualmie for a second year of <br />Chinook Fest Summit. Athree day event featuring local artisans, food, camping, Northwest beer, wine and <br />cider, but most importantly, some of the finest Roots Rock, Funk, Folk and Americana music around. The <br />event will host 20 regionally and nationally touring acts, including Current Swell, Young in the City, Rust <br />on the Rails, Magic Giant and many more. <br />Gates for the festival will open Friday afternoon, July 8th at 4:00pm. Music, vendors and food and <br />beverage service will commence at 4:00pm, running until 11:00pm. Musical acts will perform on two <br />stages, switching back and forth, to allow set-up on one stage while the other stage is live. The Main Stage <br />will be placed at the base of Summit Central's Main Lodge, side stage will be placed on the Summit Central <br />Plaza and vendors will line the Plaza area. Saturday festivities will commence at 11:00am and end at <br />11:30pm. Sunday will commence at 10:00am and end at 1:00pm. <br />This is an all -ages, family friendly event. Chinook Fest Summit will host a Kids Corner, featuring tie <br />dye, face painting, decorating musical instruments and a bouncy house. Yoga, hiking and recreation <br />rentals will also be incorporated to be enjoyed by all ages. Camping will be provided in designated areas <br />adjacent to the main festival grounds, with deluxe camping being held at the lift bases overlooking the <br />festival grounds. Campfires will not be permitted. <br />Food and beverage service will be provided by the Summit at Snoqualmie through their restaurant <br />facilities and will be offered in the Plaza and near the main stage. <br />Chinook Entertainment is in its fifth year producing Chinook Fest Central, a similar event nestled <br />in the Cascade Mountains along the Naches River at Jim Sprick Community Park. Our growing experience <br />allows us to incorporate the necessary elements to ensure the safety and well-being of each festival goer <br />while allowing them a memorable experience and expanding their cultural and musical understanding of <br />what the great state of Washington has to offer. We pride ourselves on the sustainability of our events, <br />putting an ever growing emphasis on recycling and leave no trace; it is always our intention to leave the <br />land which we use in better condition than when we arrived. We look forward to expanding and growing <br />a lasting relationship with the businesses and cities throughout the 1-90 corridor. <br />Hours of Operation — Request for County Noise Ordinance Wavier <br />In 2015 hours of operation were Fri: 2pm —11pm, Sat: 10am —11pm, Sun: 11am — 6pm. Chinook <br />Entertainment received a waiver to run main stage sound during hours outside the County Noise <br />Ordinance as there was zero residential impact. We request the same waiver to the County Noise <br />Ordinance for 2016.
