Noise <br />3) What types of noise exist in the area which may affect your <br />project (for example, traffic, equipment, operation, other)? <br />Traffic noise could affect this proposal from Reecer Creek and Bender <br />Roads and possible aircraft traffic, associated with Bower Field Airport <br />located to the east. <br />4) What types and levels of noise would be created by or <br />associated with the project on a short-term basis (for example: traffic, <br />construction, operation, other)? Indicate what hours noise would come <br />from the site. <br />On a short-term basis during the construction of the project, there would <br />be noise associated with construction equipment and other work being done <br />on site. These noises typically would be from dawn to dusk. On a long term <br />basis, there would be automobile noise from homeowners and other noise <br />associated with platted residential development. <br />5) Proposed measures to reduce or control noise impacts, if any. <br />In an effort to reduce or control possible noise impacts during the <br />construction period, construction hours would be limited to the hours <br />between 7:30 am to 7 pm. <br />LAND AND SHORELINE USE <br />a. What is the current use of the site and adjacent properties? <br />The current use of the property is agriculture and vacant land. <br />The adjacent properties are residential homes, agriculture and <br />smaller parcels. <br />b. Has the site been used for agriculture? If so, describe. <br />Yes, portions of the property are currently used as farm ground. <br />Other portions of the property have been used for agricultural and <br />is currently vacant land with riding arena facilities and some vacant structures. <br />C. Describe any structures on the site. <br />There are irrigation structures throughout the property. There are <br />existing structures such as the an abandoned Building (formerly known <br />as theHighway Grill) on the property off of Reecer Creek Road. Also there <br />is a meeting center building and radio station located on the property. <br />Along with existing riding arena and associated structures. <br />d. Will any structures be demolished? If so, what? <br />Most of the existing structures will be demolished. The appropriate <br />permits will be obtained prior to demolition occurring. <br />e. What is the current zoning classification of the site? <br />Suburban zoning <br />
