Kittitas County <br />Floodplain by Design Grant Support <br />Scope of Work <br />Kittitas County Department of Public Works intends to submit full grant applications to the <br />Washington State Department of Ecology (DOE) for three Floodplain by Design projects: <br />1. Yakima River Corridor Plan Implementation Project <br />2. Manastash Creek Corridor Plan Phase II <br />3. Reecer, Currier and Whiskey Creek Phase III <br />Watershed Science and Engineering will serve as the project lead; however, Jacobs will <br />complete the majority of the grant preparation, to which WSE will provide technical content. <br />Tasks to be completed by WSE are described below and those by Jacobs are presented on the <br />following page. <br />1. Technical Content <br />The grant applications will require input from technical specialists in the fields of hydrology, <br />hydraulics, and geomorphology. WSE staff will provide this input as needed for each of the <br />three grant applications. <br />2. Administration <br />WSE will perform standard Task Order administrative activities including: <br />• Regular communication with the County project manager and Jacobs staff. <br />• Prepare and submit monthly invoices each of which will include a brief progress report. <br />Schedule: <br />Final grant applications will be submitted to the Washington State Department of Ecology by <br />July 1, 2016, the grant submission deadline. <br />Budget: <br />Total budget $49,956 (Detailed breakdown provided on attached spreadsheets) <br />✓ 4,A WATERSHED <br />
