BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2017 - <br />TO AUTHORIZE THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO AUTHORIZE A <br />NOTICE OF CALL FOR BIDS FOR THE HUNTZINGER ROAD SAFETY <br />IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT <br />WHEREAS: The plans and specifications for the Huntzinger Road Safety <br />Improvements Project are complete; and <br />WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works received Highway Safety Improvement <br />Program funding from Federal funding sources administered through <br />Local Programs of Washington State Department of Transportation; and <br />WHEREAS: This Construction Project is included on the Six Year Transportation <br />Improvement Plan and the Annual Construction Plan; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in <br />the best interest of the public, does hereby direct the Director of Public <br />Works to prepare a Notice of Contractors for a call for bids. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that bids will be received until 10:00 am on Friday July <br />14, 2017 at the office of the Department of Public Works, 411 North Ruby <br />Street, Suite 1, Ellensburg, Washington, to be publicly read aloud after <br />10:00 am on Friday, July 14, 2017, in the Department of Public Works, <br />Ellensburg, Washington. <br />DATED on this 20th day of June, 2017, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Paul Jewell, Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />Obie O'Brien, Commissioner <br />
