OVERVIEW OF FACILITIES <br />As a show and competition facility the Washington State Horse Park will bedesignedtoaccommodateseveralsimultaneoussmalltomoderatesizeevents orasinglelargeevent.Examples of events would include regional Arabian andQuarterHorseshows,the North American Young Rider's program.DressageeventsandWorldCupcompetitions.The Horse Park will meet the needs ofbreedshows,western competitions and equestrian sports such as competitivetrailriding.Jumping,combined drivîng and three-day eventing. <br />The Washington State Horse Park will also serve those interested in less formalequestrianactivitiessuchastrailridingandbackcountrypacking.The HorseParkwillincludeanextensivetrailsystemInterconnectedwithIheCoalMinesTraileastofthesiteandtheIronHorseStateParksouthofthesite,It will also offerfacilitiesforovernighttrailridercampingandhorseboarding. <br />THE SITE <br />Location of the 106-acre site is depicted below.The northern boundary of the siteterminatesatthebaseofanaturalridge,which rises approximately 200 feetabovetheproperty.The southern border line is shared with the Washington StateHighwayDepartmentsI-90 corridor.There is a "no-build"75 foot corridorbufferingthepropertyfromthefreeway.The site is moderately forested,withpineandDouglasfir.The agreement between the WSHP Authority and SuncadiaResortisfordonationofthe106acres. <br />Cle Ehm UGA cáŸÊ <br />5
