Land -of -Sky Regional Planning Council, Asheville, NC <br />Regional Planner <br />Administered a $3 million river recreation enhancement program across 4 <br />counties (French Broad River) in Western NC. Included the planning, land <br />acquisition and development of seven park facilities and a regional <br />environmental education center associated with the Blue Ridge Parkway. <br />USDA Forest Service <br />Forest Planner <br />Served in the Washington D.C. office of the USDA Forest Service and on the <br />Jefferson National Forest as a Co-op student over three summers and part- <br />time during two academic years. Employed in a forest planning and fire- <br />fighting capacity while obtaining my undergraduate and graduate degrees.
