BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2017 - <br />TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH CRACK SEALANT MATERIALS FOR 2017 <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on February 7, 2017, to <br />furnish Crack Sealant Materials for 2017; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on February 23, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. in the Kittitas <br />County Public Works Office, and three (3) bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Special <br />Asphalt Products for Schedule "A" and Schedule "B" be accepted; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2017 Crack Sealant Materials to Special <br />Asphalt Products for Schedule "A" and Schedule "B", and be accepted, upon such terms and <br />conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the <br />contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said <br />bidder(s). <br />DATED this 7th day of March 2017, at Ellensburg, Washington <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Paul Jewell, Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />Obie O'Brien.
