Lodging Tax Application Questions <br />The American Made Event is requesting $27,600.00 <br />1. Please provide a description of your project/event and identify the specific tourism audience/market that your organization <br />will target with these funds. You must include an itemized list of exactly how any grant funds awarded will be utilized. <br />On Fourth of July Cle Elum is filled with tourists, then after the parade it seems the majority of <br />tourists leave town. We feel that an event like American Made is just what the town needs. <br />Roaring V8 chainsaws, Ax throwing, and live music is just to name a few of our events. The <br />chainsaws are real people pleasers, youth love them and adults can't get enough of them. The <br />live music will be performed by a Tribute band with thousands of followers. We are planning on <br />utilizing grant funds for advertising, website design, and equipment rental, Sanicans, Security <br />and Event Insurance. <br />Event Insurance $ 2,500.00 <br />Equipment Rental Fees $ 16,100.00 <br />Advertising $ 5,200.00 <br />• Sanicans $ 800.00 <br />Event Security $800.00 <br />Website Design $1200.00 <br />Staff/Security Shirts $1000.00 <br />Total Amount Requested $ 27,600.00 <br />2. Please provide the following estimates of how any money received will result in increases in the number of people traveling <br />for business or pleasure on a trip: <br />American Made will be a fun action packed two day event that will be broad casted through <br />social media, print media- direct mail and indirect posters/fliers, radio and television <br />advertisements reaching out to the entire Pacific Northwest and beyond. Overnight lodging will <br />be in high demand by competitors and spectators alike. Resulting in local shopping and fuel <br />purchases throughout the entire Kittitas County. <br />2017 Event Estimates <br />1.
