5. If your organization collaborates or has created partnerships with other organizations, <br />groups, or other events to cross -promote in an effort to encourage county -wide <br />tourism, how is this accomplished? <br />We are in the beginning phases, , we intend to do the following: partner with the Kittitas <br />Valley Guilt Guild for distribution of applications for quilts and for volunteers, CWU Tourism <br />and Rec to provide volunteers and assistance with the event, Kittitas County Historic <br />Museum for historic quilts to display, Roslyn Museum for historic quilts to display, <br />Olmstead State Park for historic quilts to display, Thorp Fruits Stand and Antiques for <br />location to place information, Tuckaway Antiques in Cie Elum for location to place <br />information and many other locations to place information at. We will provide handouts at <br />the county -wide visitor centers including the ranger station in Cie Elum. We will have links <br />to accommodations, things to do and other county -wide activites on our landing page <br />within the Cie Elum tourism site www.discovercleelum.com. We will also have our event <br />listing on the chamber calendar, NKC Tribune calendar, Daily Record calendar, and in the <br />chamber publications such as the visitor's guide and business directory. <br />& Please explain what plans exist to allow this project to become self-sustaining. Include <br />any plans for ticket sales, event sponsors, and other cost -recovery models. <br />Currently we are focusing on the opportunity to have the show in the Cie Elum area. We <br />will work diligently to make sure that we have additional funding from sponsors, vendors, <br />and possible donations from private individuals. We do have a board of directors that if we <br />are unsuccessful in our fundraising or support efforts that we can ask for assistance as a <br />new program and start-up event in the Cie Elum area; this will be our final cost -recovery to <br />make sure the event moves forward. <br />Additional information: Provide any additional information which will assist the Lodging <br />Tax Advisory Committee in evaluating your project and its benefit to tourism. Please <br />limit any additional written information to one page and any other additional <br />attachments to 3 pages. Regardless of how much additional information is included, <br />only the first 3 pages will be provided to reviewers. <br />8. Project Budget: Please attach a copy of the complete budget for this project/proposal. <br />If your agency operates independently of this project application it may not be <br />necessary to submit the entire agency budget.
