5. If your organization collaborates or has created partnerships with other organizations,
groups, or other events to cross -promote in an effort to encourage county -wide
tourism, how is this accomplished?
The chamber is a partner of the City of Ellensburg, City of Cie Elum, and the City of
Roslyn. We have private partnership with The ReCycle Shop, Northwest Bicycle
Improvement Company, BaseCamp, Mountain High Sports and OPR on CWU campus.
We have nonprofit partnerships with Kittitas County Mountain Bike Alliance and WABikes.
All partners have agreed to have cross promotions on their websites and in their retail
locations.
6. Please explain what plans exist to allow this project to become self-sustaining. Include
any plans for ticket sales, event sponsors, and other cost -recovery models.
For this production cycle we did not go as far as sponsors, or space sales, or price for
purchase but in order for us to maintain an up-to-date product we will have to review the
plans to include one or all of the items listed. It will be a good indication by the number of
maps that are used this year that we will be able to determine the popularity of the product
and decide if we move forward with the advertising opportunities for businesses, groups, or
individuals.
7. Additional information: Provide any additional information which will assist the Lodging
Tax Advisory Committee in evaluating your project and its benefit to tourism. Please
limit any additional written information to one page and any other additional
attachments to 3 pages. Regardless of how much additional information is included,
only the first 3 pages will be provided to reviewers.
& Project Budget: Please attach a copy of the complete budget for this project/proposal.
If your agency operates independently of this project application it may not be
necessary to submit the entire agency budget. You must submit a budget which
specifically pertains to the project/event for which you are requesting funding and
adheres to the basic budget format shown below.
County -wide Lodging Tax Application Page 112
