31 Measuring Results <br />What tools will you use to measure your event's impact on tourism? Please be specific and provide examples. Include the <br />following information: <br />A. Is your project/event year-round or is it seasonal or date -specific? Go to definitions of terms. <br />B. What strategies will you employ to assure you are attracting tourists from at least 50 miles away? <br />C. Rease be specific and provide examples. <br />All teams and vendors will be required to register for the event either on-site or <br />ahead of time. The zip codes from these registrations WII be compiled to measure <br />the number of out -of -area registrants. We will also conduct a visual survey of the <br />competitor's area to establish an average number of visitors per registrant as many <br />people bring their family and friends with them. <br />2500 character limit <br />A. What strategies will you errploy to assure you are attracting tourists from at least 50 miles away? <br />We will focus the majority of our advertising in the Puget Sound Area, which is <br />roughly 80 miles away. Additionally, we will launch an email, Facebook, and website <br />campaign to attract registrants from as far away as Arizona, Alaska, Canada, and <br />Montana. <br />2500 character lirrit <br />C. What strategies will you use to assist in marketing all of IGttitas County as a tourist destination with your <br />event/project funding request? <br />We will place the logo of both the City of Roslyn and the Kittitas County Chamber of <br />Commerce on all advertising materials including a link on our website. Additionally, <br />we will offer free banner space and sound bites at our event for all other Kittitas <br />County Events for free. Also, we plan on coordinating with the High County Log <br />Show to possibly showcase a log show exhibition during the time between <br />competitions and are open to the idea of expanding these showcases to other <br />events if possible. Last, we will hand out competitor bags to all event registrants <br />and would welcome any samples or print material provided by other Kittitas County <br />Events, attractions, and businesses to be added to the bags. <br />2500 character limit <br />Application Questions: Part 3 <br />41 Collaboration <br />If your organization collaborates or has created partnerships with other organizations, groups, or other <br />events, how is this accomplished? <br />
