Collaboration * 1. Chamber of Commerce: Serves as our sales outlet <br />2. City of Ellensburg: <br />- Waves noise ordinance for weekend <br />- Allows our use of the Rotary Pavilion for our main venue <br />- Provides: fencing for the Rotary Pavilion (main venue); no parking signs; <br />handicap signs; Hangs or banner across 4th between Main and Pearl streets. <br />3. CWU: <br />-Through a contract arrangement provides: Pianos, Music stands, Platforms, and <br />Cooling fans for the Rotary Pavilion. <br />We partner to provide music clinics for the County high school students. <br />We offer yearly scholarships for Jazz students attending CWU. <br />- Collaborate with CWU's summer Jazz music camp providing Friday night tickets to <br />camp members, Having the camp students perform a free concert Saturday <br />morning prior to the festival starting. <br />4. Rodeo Association: <br />- Loans us their concession wagon for use as our Ticket booth. In exchange, our <br />board member volunteer during the Rodeo. <br />- Use of approx. 750 chairs <br />5. Hire local Boy Scout troops (last year FBLA student)s to unload and load the <br />Rodeo chairs and clean up the Rotary Pavilion Saturday and Sunday mornings. <br />6. Gallery One: <br />- Is a music venue during the festival <br />- Provides a tasting of premium Washington State ovines on the Sat. afternoon of <br />the festival. This is a significant fundraising event for them. <br />- Offers a 10% discount to festival attendees <br />7. Farmer's Market runs extended hours that weekend <br />8. Public Library decorates their lobby with Festival memorabilia. They have an <br />archive of all our past festivals. <br />9. KVH displays all 20 years of posters in their lobby throughout July. They also <br />donated money to pay for the wash stations used during the festival and posted <br />literature on the importance of hand washing. <br />10. We donate up to 20 Festival Passes to non-profit organizations to aid in their <br />fundraising efforts. <br />11. We commit a page of our brochure to other events happening in Ellensburg. <br />that weekend <br />12. Many downtown businesses have served a festival venues. including:Rodeo <br />City BBQ; Dakota Cafe; Fitterer's Furniture; The Moose Lodge; Grand Central; <br />Valley Cafe; The Palace; Gard Vintner's Tasting Room; Kelleher's; Methodist <br />Church; among others. <br />2500 character lirrit <br />51 Future Plans <br />Please explain what plans exist to allow this project to become self-sustaining. Include any plans for ticket <br />sales, event sponsors, and other cost -recovery models. <br />
