BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2018 - <br />TO DECLARE EQUIPMENT RENTAL AND REVOLVING FUND <br />EQUIPMENT SURPLUS NOT TO THE COUNTY'S NEEDS AND THEREBY BE ELIGIBLE FOR <br />TRADE-IN <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Equipment Rental and Revolving Fund has the following used equipment, which is <br />surplus not to the County's needs and thereby eligible for trade-in: <br />E.R. & R. #602 2006 MORBARK — Wood Chipper <br />VIN# 488S716106W040485 <br />E.R. & R. #412 2008 VTLEEBOY/RB48 - Sweeper <br />VIN# 485051094; and <br />WHEREAS: Purchasing off of the State contract is an exception to having to go out for bid nullifying the use of <br />KCC 2.81.090(4); and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works has negotiated fair market trade in value for said equipment to be exchanged as part <br />of the purchase for new replacement equipment; and <br />WHEREAS: The Director of Public Works recommends that Kittitas County dispose of said equipment in <br />accordance with RCW 36.34.070; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, after due consideration and <br />in the best interest of the public, does hereby declare the above named equipment surplus not to the <br />county's needs, thereby eligible for trade-in and authorizes the Director of Public Works to dispose <br />of said equipment in accordance with RCW 36.34.070. <br />DATED this 16th day of January, 2018. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY.
