COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
THURSDAY 11:00 A.M. OCTOBER 15, 2026
Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chairman Laura
Osiadacz; Commissioner Jeff Leichleiter.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator; Therese Murphy, Deputy
Prosecutor III; Zack Dehaven, Budget & Finance Director; Charlie
Smith, Project and Contracts Manager; Greg Zempel, Prosecutor.
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 11:01 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a Special Meeting and
announced the Board would enter into an Executive Session for 15
minutes, with Therese Murphy, Deputy Prosecutor III; Zack Dehaven,
Budget & Finance Director; Charlie Smith, Project and Contracts
Manager; Greg Zempel, Prosecutor, under RCW 42.30.110(c) to consider
the minimum price at which real estate will be offered for sale or
lease when public knowledge regarding such consideration would cause
a likelihood of decreased price. However, final action selling or
leasing public property shall be taken in a meeting open to the
public. Possible action anticipated.
At 11:16 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session.
Direction to staff to prepare a Purchase and Sale Agreement for the
Board’s consideration at a later date.
Meeting adjourned at 11:16 a.m.
