ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge Amendment to The Food Service
Partnership Agreement between Kittitas County and Summit Food Service, LLC.
BACKGROUND: Kittitas County has had a Professional Services Operating
Agreement with Summit Food Service, LLC., formerly known as Consolidated Food
Management, Inc. since 2011, for the management and operation of the food service
program at the Kittitas County Jail. The Outside/Inside Eats Amendment is to allow for
Summit to provide additional meals and products to incarcerated individuals.
OUTSIDE INSIDE - Summit shall host an e-commerce website to permit third parties to
purchase hot or cold means and products for incarcerated individuals. Commission will
be paid at 25% on gift bag/online orders and the Outside Inside Program
INSIDE EATS — Summit shall provide specialty meals in addition to regular meal service
that incarcerated individuals will be able to purchase using their personal funds.
Commission will be paid to the client at 25% of net sales on Inside Eats Orders.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has reviewed and
approved.
RECOMMENDATION: Acknowledge Amendment to The Food Service Partnership
Agreement between Kittitas County and Summit Food Service, LLC.
