ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Kittitas County
Sheriff’s Office to Purchase 1 Year Service Contract from Smiths Detection
BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office previously purchased a Smiths
Detection body scanner via Command Sourcing, with an annual option for renewing the
extended service plan. The extended service plan renewal period is October 19, 2026,
through October 18, 2027.
INTERACTION: This interagency agreement was reviewed and approved by the
Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve a Resolution Authorizing Kittitas County Sheriff’s
Office to Purchase 1 Year Service Contract from Smiths Detection
