AGENDA DATE: September 15, 2026
ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards approval for Chairs signature on Change Order 2 for
the Cle Elum Transfer Station Driveway Improvements and Tank
Replacement Project.
BACKGROUND: The County awarded a bid for the Cle Elum Transfer Station Project
to Gibson and Son Road Building.
During the construction of the project several items were encountered
and needed to be addressed.
1) Adjust Manhole and gas valve at the new entrance
2) Added loading dock for white goods area
3) Add Quarry Spalls for track off area
4) Add CB at Tank inlet
5) Add Junction Box
6) Relocate ecology blocks
For a total increase of $72,648.68.
INTERACTION: Facilities and Waste Operations Director, and SCJ Alliance.
RECOMMENDATION: Recommend Boards approval for chairs signature on Change order
No. 2 for the Cle Elum Transfer Station Driveway Improvement and
Tank Replacement project.
